Customer-Reference Release Form Needed
Posted by Bill Lee on September 25, 2006 at 04:59 PM
"I am looking to see if anyone can supply a generic template release form that a start-up could use for their customer reference program. The generic form could be used as a standard release for the customer to participate in a case study/success story program. They have a very limited legal budget and hope that they won't be forced to reinvent the wheel. Thanks for any help or insights the collective group can provide."

Hi Marisa,
I have a form I use that you are welcome to replicate if it's suitable. It's been cleared by our Legal people, so might be helpful. I'll email it over to you but if you need any further info, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind regards,
Claire

Hi Marisa,
I am also searching for such a template and have sent out requests within the firm. As soon as I receive something useful I will contact you again. In the meantime, appreciate if you can share, if you receive it before I get my hands on one.
Thanks,
Regards,
Shabbir

Hi Marisa,
I'll email you a sample release form. Just wanted to give you a heads up since it's an attachment from a new contact.

Hi Marisa,
I'll email you the Promotional Material Release that Intel uses for customer promotional materials. I'll also forward a personal release we have for customers who participate in video testimonials. Please let me know if you have any questions upon receipt.

Marisa,
I'll send you a legal release that I used at another company and thought it might be helpful to you. I actually put this together and got my husband who is a paralegal to review it for legal "holes" and then ran it by our legal team to bless (they didn't make any changes).
